CONCEPT
SOUNDS LIKE A CHILDHOOD is a personal project of musical memory flashbacks.
The ten hit singles catapult us back to singer Effi’s childhood in a small town in the north of Germany during the 1980s.
It’s the music that was played on NDR2 radio.
The music that she obliviously sang along to without knowing the exact words or even the names of the artists.
We didn't want to reinvent those amazing representations of 80s pop hits: They’re just too good the way they are!
Instead, our cover versions are a tribute: A cheerful and fresh celebration of ingenious songwriting, harmonic originality and incredible melodic lines!
